This is going to sound silly, but I just bought some and for the life of me I can't get it open. What do I do to make the pump work? I tried twisting it, and that didn't work neither did pushing down on it. I feel like an idiot but any help would be appreciated!

it should just be an easy twist to the left or right. maybe it's just defective.

Haha don't feel silly- I have issues with those things all the time! I'd try pushing down on the pump, twisting and then gently lifting up. I feel like some variation of that should probably work. If not, break the bottle and pour it into a different container hahaha. Good luck!

I have bought many of the hand soaps and for the life of me I can't open the freaken things either...lol I think I may be switching....not worth the aggravation

there may be like a plastic lock arond it that makes it so no one can push it down and have soap come or twist the spout thing when it pops up your good to go

I called the 1800 number because I had the same problem. you need to open it all the way like taking the cap off to release some air. it worked fine after that.
