Pay them off, make the transaction easier on yourself. If you get waivers for them, you might not get the job you are wanting (especially a job with a security clearance).

Depends on the tickets.
If it's just minor offenses like speeding, and you paid them off, your fine (as everyone else has said).
If you're really concerned about it and want to improve your credentials further (and if you have a big pocket book), you can hire a lawyer for 700 dollars and they'll negotiate to get the tickets out of your record. Even if you pay them off, there will still be a mention in your record you got the ticket. My dad was one of the paranoid people who hired a lawyer to get rid of the record for one speeding ticket.
But considering paying it off is difficult for you, just make sure you do that, and you'll be fine.

Well I read some of the answers, but I am going to tell you that YOU CAN!! I joined when I had 6 speeding tickets (3 weren't paid off). I have 14 now, lol.

you cant join the military with active outstanding tickets. pay them off and you will be fine. if you get too many or really bad ones your job choices in the military would be limited

depends some times, like the severity of the ticket, i joined with an unpaid ticket just got it waivered. so yes you can join with unpaid tickets.

you have to get them paid off. My recruiter told me about a guy with 43 tickets.

No, my son talked to a recruiter a couple of weeks ago and they told him that he had to clear his tickets first, then they'll talk to him.

Definitely. They'll take anyone lately, and they are writing off on anything.
