What is the electronic configuration of a 6+ chromium ion?

  • because its a 6+ ion, it has lost 6 electrons. therefore it will have the same electronic configuration as Ar (argon) - Ar is 6 before Cr on the periodic table. So it would be:

    1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6
