So my computer was freezing every time I started up my computer and I assumed this was because of a virus or to much stuff on it so I decided to try system restore and it still was freezing so I went to my last resort which was restoring the computer to factory default which I had done before in another situation and it turned out fine, but this time I get an 0x3e7 error. I dont have a windows 7 install disc and I don't know what to do. What are my options? I think the only thing I can do is buy a windows 7 disc.

He got his info from a fake Wiki page setup by scammers with links to spyware.
As for the issue,check that none of your hardware has changed since the last restore.
Go to the manufacturers web site and look at the manual (yes,the manual).They have a lot of troubleshooting info.Some companies offer new restore disks for a small charge.
Try removing the hard drive and attaching to another computer via USB (cheap adapter needed) or internally and then running 'Chkdsk' on the drive.Chkdsk can fix a lot of things.

0x3E7 Error Codes are caused in one way or another by misconfigured system files in your windows registry.
There are two (2) ways to fix 0x3E7 Error:
Advanced Computer User Solution (manual update):
1) Start your computer and log on as an administrator.
2) Click the Start button then select All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click System Restore.
3) In the new window, select "Restore my computer to an earlier time" option and then click Next.
4) Select the most recent system restore point from the "On this list, click a restore point" list, and then click Next.
5) Click Next on the confirmation window.
6) Restarts the computer when the restoration is finished.
Novice Computer User Solution (completely automated):
1) Download (0x3E7) repair utility.
2) Install program and click Scan button.
3) Click the Fix Errors button when scan is completed.
4) Restart your computer.
