i read a pearls comic and didnt understand the punchline...dunk rye for me, arch & tina? i understand that its a play on words and that arch and tina is supposed to be argentina (i think)..but what?

Yes, it is a play on words. "dunk rye for me arch and tina" sounds like "don't cry for me argentina" which is the theme song for the musical "Evita."
Notice in the first frame of the strip, the new name of the diner is mentioned as "Evita's".
