• 3 main tenses PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE and depending how you look at them SEVERAL aspects. Simple, continuous and Perfect but mixed they make lots more.

  Past simple , past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous

  Present simple, present continuous, present perfect, present perfect continuous

  Future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous
