Find the differential dy. y = ex/5 dy = Evaluate dy for x = 0 and dx = 0.1 dy =?

  • If I understand your question, y(x) = (e^x)/5

    The derivative, dy/dx = (e^x)/5 = y(x)

    At x=0, dy/dx = 1/5

However, "dx = 0.1" has no meaning.

    Could you mean [(e^0.1)/5 - (e^0)/5]/0.1 ? That equals 0.21034.... ≈ 1/5

  • What's "differential dy. y = ex/5 dy = Evaluate dy" ?
