The reason it is incorrect is you must fill the 4s orbital before the 3d Orbital. However, Copper is exempt from fully filling the 4s orbital. so it should look like below with the 3d orbital fully filled, and the 4s orbital with just 1 electron.
1s^2 2s^2 2p^6 3s^2 3p^6 4s^1 3d^10

** I figured it out. For anyone else looking for this question, the 4s^2 should be 4s^1.
