A few weeks ago I got a Letter in the mail from a company called Brookwood Loans that said I was Approved for an unsecured Personal loan $1000-$3500 with a Promo code. So After looking up the company Ive found a few negative reviews which stated that the company is real but they have high interest rates.. It doesn't bother me much because I'll be paying the loan back in installments plus it will build my credit. so Today i decided to fill out the application and It said that I was approved but I have to fax in a copy of my License,Utility Bill,Bank Statement,Pay Stub and Voided Checking account check. For them to finish Processing my Application. Does this all sound legit? Also have any of you ever Heard Of this company?

Maybe you can ask the BBB? I'm not sure how reliable even that is, though.
I DID get a personal loan from a company I hadn't heard of once. It turned out to be just fine.
Don't take my word for it, though. Specifically answering your question I must say... I have never heard of Brookwood Loans.
