I need help solving these, I have no idea what to do!
a) Compute the reactance of a 0.450 H inductor at the frequency of 60.0 HZ.
b)Compute the reactance of a 0.450 H inductor at the frequency of 600.0 HZ.
c) Compute the reactance of a 2.50 uF inductor at the frequency of 60.0 HZ.
d) Compute the reactance of a 2.50 uF inductor at the frequency of 600.0 HZ.
e) At what frequency is the reactance of a 0.450 H inductor equal to that of a 2.50 uF capacitor?

Inductive reactance is (2 Pi f L), f in Hertz, L in Henrys
Capacitive reactance is 1/(2 Pi f C), f in Hertz, C in Farads
Equating the two gives the frequency at which an L and C have equal reactance, also called the resonant frequency, as 1/( 2 Pi sqrt(LC) )
The rest is just substituting particular values
a) 2 Pi (60 Hz) (0.45 H) = 169.6 Ohms
b,c) you do these
d) 1/( 2 Pi (600 Hz) (2.5E-6 F) ) = 106.1 Ohms
e) 1/( 2 Pi sqrt( (0.45 H)(2.5E-6 F) ) = 150.0 Hz
