How can I reheat bread sticks and not ruin them?

When pizza hut delivers them they come heated and toasted. When I try to microwave the leftovers the next day (I leave them in the fridge) they always come out hot, but extremely soft and they practically break apart. How can I reheat them to how they are delivered?

  • Heat oven to 350

    wrap bread in foil

lay foil wrapped bread on cookie sheet

place in oven for 5 to 10 minutes.

If you don't wrap in foil they dry out. 🙁

  • If you have a pan with a basket or other insert that fits in it, you can make a bun warmer. They used to sell them everywhere (before microwaves) but you can't get them anymore. They still do the best job at reheating bread items.

Put a little water in the bottom of the bigger pan, get it to steaming, and reduce the heat. Wrap the breadsticks in a towel and put them into the basket. Put it into the pan, making sure the water does not reach the towel. Put it over low heat for a little while, maybe 5 minutes or so, and then you'll have great reheated breadsticks.

  • Wrap in foil and pt in a 350 oven for abot 10-15 min.

  • You can put a damp paper towel around them and reheat only for 10 seconds, in the microwave.

Or, you can put them in the oven for about 10 minutes on 300 degrees.

  • Wrap them in aluminum foil in a single layer. Heat in oven at 350 degrees for eight to ten minutes. Check them and see if they're hot. Then open foil and heat an additional minute to crisp.

  • Put it in the oven for 10 min on 350 degrees, then afterwards if you want it extra crispy, put it in the broiler on low for 3-5 min

  • Wet down a paper bag and put the breadsticks inside it. Put them in a 375 degree oven for about ten minutes.

  • The best way is in a toaster oven for a few minutes, but under the broiler on your oven also works just as well. The only thing is you really have to watch them under the broiler, b/c they can burn really fast.

  • Pop them in your toaster oven for a few mins. Ovens work well too, but take longer to preheat.
