How long for package to clear Customs (ISC NEW YORK USPS)?

• it actually says, “Processed THROUGH Sort Facility”. Meaning that it has passed through Customs already and is in the hands of the USPS.

  As Hugo90 said, you should have gotten it Saturday, Monday at the latest, although that is not guaranteed.

  Ordered a single item from Germany on Thursday, Mar. 20, 2014.

  Package has been at ISC since March 26, 2014, 7:27 am

  Processed Through Sort Facility ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS).

  It is now April 18th and I’m still waiting. Emailed USPS but they’ve yet to reply.

• I have a new package from India that got to ISC NY today. I suspect it could be another few to 10 days in customs and then it will make its way to me.

  As long as I get it within 3 weeks ,Im good.

• I have waited 4 months for orders from Hong Kong, China anywhere Asian. Don’t know why. Bought an item from a guy in Pakistan once and it got here in 8 days. I was expecting homeland security to show up at my house!! LOL..waiting on one now from china and it has been in ISC New York for 5 days so far. will update with total time. PS my items are mostly computer boards and robotics..some i would be suspicious if I saw them go by an x ray machine!

• With packages leaving the USA it’s normal to appear like they are stuck at ISC (International service Center) because the status doesn’t change until the destination country sends updates to USPS (some don’t do that until the package is delivered). Most developed countries will post updates when it’s received, when it clears customs, and when it’s delivered, but some do not. I would say that in most cases it’s nothing to worry about. The biggest problem for eBay purchases is if your item is a fake/forgery/knock off; if so, you might want to contact USPS as Customs will not let it pass through.

• Since Oct 18th a package of scrapbooking paper goods has been sitting? My worst pet peeve is there is no one available to at least acknowledge with tracking # that they still have it or if it’s lost never coming and if we should start paper work for reinbursements $..

  Not a great system if they can’t acknowledge customers who pay good money to use mail service?

  So frustrating. Why have tracking if it doesn’t work? How long do we have to wait to get answers? Very poor service.

• Sent two boxes to China for my son. he received one box in exactly a week, The other box still says at ISC NY. I guess after reading these post, My son will not be receiving his Christmas Gifts this year. Also I had to list there was a Watch in the Box along with Coach purses for his girlfriend.Funny box with just clothes made it to China..What is going on at that sort Facility??

• I’m not exactly sure, from what I read it apparently takes a while but I had a package go there and it said that the package left the carrier there but that was a few days ago and I’m still waiting. And I’m actually on the island so it shouldn’t take that long to get from there to here

• How about packages that are going out of the US and it says Arrived at Sort Facility

  ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS).. Is there any hope that it will get to its destination?? Even tho its an out going Priority Mail International Parcels???
