# How much does a tour-bus cost?

My two sisters and I are going to Missouri to Florida (my parents are drivin though lol) We are going on an Week and a half trip Universal for a few days than a my gmas house on the beach (were also looking at houses down there) And I told you that so you can kinda guess how many times we have to refill the gas and stuff like that lol. We thought it would be a cool experiance and we were thinking of staring our own band. The kind of bus with like the three beds on each side. We were in our friends bus (The Maine) and we thought it was really cool. What kind of gas mileage does it get (I’m 12 so I really have no idea what I’m talking about with the car/gas stuff haha) Thanks!

• Well a luxury RV as a guide would cost you $1,000,000+ They get about 5MPG which means every 5miles you drive, you’ve burn’t a gallon of gas. So, if you want to work out how much it’s going to cost you to get from missouri to florida in your new tour bus, you can work it out like this. 1200Miles / 5MPG = 240 Gallons Then 240 Gallons X$3.60 a Gallon = $864 Oh! and the ride home, that’s$1728 minus depreciation, wear and tear, oil etc.

Have fun dreaming:p

• Wait, so you want to start a band because you want to get the fancy tour bus? And you are 12?

And you are “friends” with The Maine?

There are so many flaws in this question…

But anyway, just get an RV. It will still be ridiculously expensive though, over \$1000. Gas milage is awful. Maybe 5 or 6 miles to the gallon. (Your parents car probably gets at around 20, and they still complain about gas prices, am I right?)

Best of luck…

• Most of those buses are leased, but new they run from about 1.2–1.5 million depending on how they are equiped.
