Okay so i recently got a prescription for Alesse , but i havent gotten it filled yet . Im just wondering how much its going to cost me .. i live and canada . I have medical coverage and i know it pays for %80 of most things but i dont know if it counts for this sort of thing .

It varies from place to place and method to method, so your best bet is to call your pharmacy and see what it'll cost through them. They'll be able to tell you if your medical program will cover it, how much it'll cover, and how much you'll pay with and without coverage. It also helps to call a few places to see if you can get a better price.

If the spotting continues with the second pack, you should see your doctor about it, it's called break through bleeding and while it can be common when you first start a packet of pills, it shouldn't last through a few packs. Also with Alesse, it's recently gone generic, so if you've gotten it from the pharmacy and it's not the NAME BRAND Alesse but the generic, it causes breakthrough bleeding MUCH more than the brand name product does. Your pharmacy can substitute one for the other unless your doctor writes NO SUB on the prescription. They will also have a "co-pay" card available for you so that you can get the BRAND NAME product at the generic product cost. Hope this helps.

well im on tri nessa and i would think it would be the same. um i live in america so yea but i think it should be relitivly the same.
as long as you have health insurance it should cover most of it. my birth control costs me a total of 5 dollars. medical insurance does cover it

In the US it is around $30 dollars...$10 with insurance...pretty cheap compared to other options. It was the first one of many that didn't mess with my hormones.
