How much does Walmart Vision charge to repair glasses?

• Just take them in. If you've only had them 40-some days, they may still be under store warranty; but even if they're not, they may just fix them for free... the vision center at my WalMart has always taken care of me.

• I have gone to Walmart several times to just replace a lost screw - never charged. I went this weekend and the person asked if I got the glasses at Walmart - I said no. He then said it would be a $7.50 charge. I told him I had never been charged and he said that they are supposed to. He was rather cool, I did not like his attitude. Getting the free repairs made me want to go to Walmart the next time I needed glasses. His attitude about paying for what was always free will make sure that I do NOT go to Walmart when I need glasses. 🙁

  I depends on where you got your glasses. I simply got my glasses at Walmart. Some places have a policy if you break your glasses in an amount of time it will be free. I have popped my Lens out but it was free to get it back in at Walmart. Vision Center at Walmart does eye exams, glasses, and I think they do repairs. I am sorry if you end up having to pay. -Colten

• You will just have to take the glasses in and let them look at them. Unless they sold them to you, they may tell you that they will have to charge for the repair job. If they did sell them to you, the repair may be free...particularly if it is a rather "simple fix." If the repair is complex, they may tell you where to take them to be repaired, or give you an estimate for having them repaired there...and then you get to decide the outcome. Good luck. Vanessa

• It's kind of doubtful they guaranty your glasses against dogs chewing on them. Some things you have to take responsibility for yourself.
