I want to know how to pronounce the name of the guy from LMFAO. His real name is Stefan. Does anybody know if that is pronounced as Steven, Stef-on, or Stef-in?

I know 2 men w. this name, and they both pronounce it ‘stehf-ON”.I would think Steven is ‘STEE-ven’, as I know quite a few people w. this name and they all pronounce it thus.

I would pronounce it Stef-on. On Vampire Diaries they pronounce it Stef-in, but it’s not Steven at all.

STEF-‘n. The vowel at the end is neutral, it doesn’t sound like -on or -in or -an or anything. HOWEVER, that’s just my usual pronunciation, and the most common one where I live. There is another pronunciation, which is st’f-AHN. The vowel at the end makes a long AAAH sound, like in the word car, or armadillo. And in this pronunciation, the vowel at the START is neutral. I’ve met two Stefans, one with each pronunciation.
