Hi Anaheim I'm in Long beach just down the 91 from you..I don't think you'll find a 'free' bee remover unless it's a friend or a friend of a friend..I called the fire dept. out on a foot round one in the neighbors one in the electric meter..they just came out and looked to be sure that it wasn't african bees and there was no danger.but they didn't do anything..you'll have to pay the pest people to do it..like I said you'll have to find a brave friend..someone might want the honey bees for there own hive starting..I'm sure it's full of honey too..other than those choices, is you doing it yourself..depending where it is there's shot spraying stuff in the can that shoots like ten feet away so you have plenty of time to run for cover if they swarm..or you can light a torch item and set the fire right to them and their wings ignite before they can do anything..like fly.that's what we do for the small wasps nest that hang under the house eves..you can spray gasoline on the whole thing which will burn the wings immediately and it snuffs them out right away. But be SMART what ever you do..oh and you can do a smoke out on them..with the 4th coming you can get those nasty stinky snakes that you light and they make smoke as the grow out ashes..I hope you know what I mean so I don't sound as dumb as it sounds..haha..anyway good luck..NLB Debbie

If the bees are plastered on your house, the swarm is looking for a permanent location, sitting out the open is not one they want. If you call a beekeeper or exterminator who "collects" bees and can come ASAP then the colony can be safely hived. If they are in the house or tree or someplace nearby, they can also be collected. Realize it may be swarming season and beekeepers are very busy collecting. There's also a concern if the swarm is Africanized.....in that case they may not want your bees

Oh, man, Papa Mac..I wish my father were still alive. He had beehives passed down from his grandfather (my great grandfather). But, my father would often be asked to get rid of bees that had formed a swarm in trees, etc. and he knew how to do it. As a kid, I would step on bees in the yard and would suffer for about a week. It was very good eating the honey and no one had to worry about their teeth going bad...there's no sugar in honey. And it's also such a wonderful way to sweeten tea, coffee, etc.
