• No. At least not if your on the debate team and can rebuttal with even more patronizing terms. If not than you shouldn't try to educate such a person on the niceties of living in a civilized society. It won’t work.

• Hyperbole: to make a statement using florid, excessive terms. So....no?

• It means to 'teach people who are ignorant'. Don't know if that is good or bad.
