61 is correct due to order of operations: 60+(60x0)+1=0
As for why any number x 0 is 0: think of this:
lets say 4:
4 x 4 is 16
4 x 3 is 12
4 x 2 is 8
4 x 1 is 4
4 x 0 is 0
as you can see, you subtract 4 every time, so the solution being 0 just follows the pattern.
So if 1x=x
that means 0x=x-x=0

order of operations makes multiplication the first to be solved.
60+(60x0)+1=
60+0+1=61
It is 61.

What you need to do of follow the saying Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally or pemdas for short. This means do math in this order: Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction....when doing this problem just follow these steps and since no parenthesis or exponents are there just skip them. So multiply first the 60x0 which is 0, so your new problem should be 60+0+1= which its 61...

Multiplication comes first then division addition and subtraction. So it would be 61 🙂
