I think you mean Avril Lavigne and Adam Levine (he's the frontman of Maroon 5). The pronounciation is the same eventhough the spelling is different.
And no, they are not related to each other.

No therye not. They are of no relation to each other. Adams last name spells differently from Avril's. His last name spells Levine while Avrils spells Lavigne. They both are pronounced the same way but are spelled differently.

No. Although their names are pronounced the same, they are not related. The Maroon 5 Singer's name is Adam Levine and then there is Avril Lavigne.

no they are not ..because avril lavigne is from canada and adam levine is from los angeles ...just their last names are pronounced same..but their spelling differs
