• No, it's just a place they made up for the film and movie. If you follow the trail at Wikipedia, it ends up bring in you to the Penobscot Bay area, where Crabapple Cove is supposeably located.

  I'd opt for Cabot Cove - the crime rate is a bit alarming but they have a 100% record for bringing the villains to book. There ought to be a sign on the outskirts of town: "Wannabe killers beware - you WILL be caught !" Sadly, the local sheriff has banned this idea - fearing it might reduce his staff and even threaten his own job. And the town's 100% rate of arrest.
