I'm wondering if it is illegal to post flyers on cars in Texas. Just regular text flyers, nothing risqué or anything. Anybody know for sure? I've seen it done but I was wondering if it was actually legal.

YES if you go to for example an office building it is private building and you put flyer's on cars the owner can hire a person to take the flyer's off cars and charge you with a very big bill
this is fact
i have tried and police called me saying if i do not take off owner is going to hire a person for $25. an hour to take off

We are a service that helps negotiate and discount medical bills for people called www.questresolutions.com
and wondered if we would be able to leave a small sized flyer like a postcard size and leave it on cars in front of the local hospital but after reading some of these posts we are not sure? Do we look for a "no soliciting sign" and if there is not one is it OK?

Unless theres a law in texas saying so, there isn't anything saying its illegal. You may get yelled at if you are on private property, or if the guy comes out and watches you do it to their car, but im sure you cant be arrested for it. Plus, if you ever get yelled at for it, just say, sorry man its my job and just move somewhere else or skip the car.

Depends upon what the local laws require. You would need to check with the police in the city that you plan on putting the fliers on. Most cities have regulations about handing out fliers.
Then you would need the permission of the property owner of the parking lots you would be on.

It is most likely not illegal but when they do it on mine it always sets off the car alarm so is very annoying...I keep them and make a note to never patronize any business that leaves one on my vehicle.

It SHOULD be. I'm sick of going to the grocery store, and then coming out to find somebody's stupid thoughts on life and religion on my car.

In most states, yes it's illegal, but they don't really enforce it.

im sur its not cuz i see lots of people put them under wind shield wipers and nobody would care that much so it doesnt really matter

if it's not, it f~cking should be. if i saw you putting your hands on my car, i'd confront you and cause a scene.
