is mr color acrylic or lacquer based?

• Mr. Color is lacquer based.

  Mr. Hobby is acrylic.

  I’ve used Mr. Color for several years, love it, and have had good results both with and without primer. When I use I primer, I use Mr. Surfacer 1000.

  You can dilute for airbrushing using Mr. Color thinner.

  Be careful when airbrushing Mr. Color, though. Fumes can get quite potent. I highly recommend using a respirator when painting.

  and make sure you get a filter for organic vapors.
