Right so all morning I've had my foreskin bunched up behind the head of my penis. I kind of like the way it feels, but here's the thing: the head of my penis has changed alot in just a few hours. It's dry and pale. It doesn't feel bad, just different. Would it be ok to keep my foreskin behind the head always?

Permanently Exposed Glans

perfectly okay if you have a normal foreskin. If your skin is very tight, it can cause strangulation of the glans in a condition called paraphimosis. don't worry; it isn't going to sneak up on you unawares. Some people are able to keep the foreskin retracted because the rim of the glans flares out a great deal. This "auto-circumcision" can give one an idea of what it is like to be circumcised and it doesn't cause any permanent change if you want to go back to the way you were before.
I did precisely what you are doing for a very long time before deciding that I would get circumcised as a medical student at age 26. I have never regretted this decision. I has always felt like a sexual enhancement to me and I would have no desire now to have my foreskin back. How old are you. There are groups available to guys over 18 that explain what adult circumcision is like and what the results are. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Joel The way the foreskin is designed, it's not supposed to be retracted on a constant basis. The foreskin is there to protect the glans/head of the penis by keeping germs out and the glans moist. The foreskin is doing the job it was designed to do correctly. If you were to have the foreskin retracted on a constant basis the glans/head of the penis would dry out and become cauterized and would dry out to the point of comparison like a callous on your heal or hand. So don't do anything, just let it be.

As you noticed, the glans becomes dry. Over time, it will develop a layer of keretin to protect the nerve endings; this replaces the work done by the foreskin, and is what happens to men who are circumcised. The result is that the texture of the head will become harder, and the nerves will be less exposed during sex, so you will have slightly less sensitivity. Other than that, you shouldn't have any problems.

Keeping your foreskin retracted defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.
Being circumcised is nothing great; it is genital mutilation, and you possibly wonder how it feels, but just exposing the glans isn't what it's all about. Circumcision amputates the foreskin with its thousands of nerve endings. It severs nerves, and damages other nerve endings left on the shaft. Scar tissue is formed. The penile blood flow is permanently disrupted, with the veins and capillaries severed.
Finally, the glans and surrounding tissues are permanently exposed, which dry out and keratinize, which further reduces sexual sensitivity.
It's your penis, do whatever you want with your foreskin, but having the glans covered when flaccid is what nature intended, keeping the tissues smooth, protected and moist. Exposing the glans will keratinize it and reduce your sexual sensitivity, and the dried out texture of the glans and surrounding skin will be more abrasive to the vaginal walls of your sexual partner.
Circumcision is the worst hoax ever perpetrated on the male sex.
A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright.

The only reason to do this is pleasure seeking, it can get stuck under certain circumstances and need medical assistance, if you are keen to keep it this way go and get circumcised properly.

You asked this earlier. My answer has not changed.

it depends if you like the infection it could create from doing it?

I think that is what circumcised penises look like all the time.
