Last night at a party I overheard a few people talking about there being a place called Midgetville in Claremont(no not little person this is supposely the actual name of the town) I told them that I wanted to check this out next week, but I was warned by them that these people are crazy and very territorial about the people that try to sneak in there. Is 1.) this place for real and 2.) what are some of the myths and stories that have happened when people have tried to drive through the community?

The legend of “Midgetville”, aka "Tiny Town", continues to live to this day. It’s an urban legend about the little people who played the Munchkins in the Wizard of Oz. Supposedly they all moved out to live somewhere after the movie was done shooting.
The other story is that they were from a circus or something.
We see people post in this forum, swearing it’s true. Funny thing is, it’s always a case of secondhand knowledge: It’s always a parent, a cousin, or a friend who knows exactly where it is. However, the person conveniently disappears when it’s time to find out where it is really. Or it’s a case of someone who visited as a child, but cannot find it now that they are grown up. Supposedly it is in Long Beach, Riverside, San Dimas, or any one of a number of locations.
Even web sites that supposedly supported this are no longer in existence.
Bottom line is, there’s just no hard evidence, so it’s just an urban legend.

Yes there is! I've been there twice with different sets of friends. It's in Claremont up Padua but Padua theatre you have to kind of hike skittle bit to get there. It's scary and this lady that lives in the first house will chase you with her truck and tell you she's calling the cops. There is no trespassing signs all over but if you keep walking you'll see small houses and small mailboxes but you have to be so quiet! Because even their lights are sensitive. If someone walks by their motion lights wil go off

duuude! i live in cali too. and there IS a place. my friend found it, but its in Downey. I don't remember where he found it though. and Wee Man from Jackass confirmed that there is one near SD. IDK anything else. but my friend survived so obviously the people there aren't evil. they're normal people. but how would you like to have little people scoping out YOUR place?
