I just got my wisdom teeth removed today and I've been feeling really sick to my stomach. Everytime I eat, I end up hurling. Is this normal? They put me to sleep during the surgery if this helps. Sorry for the gross question, though..

Its actually pretty common for people to get an upset stomach after being put to sleep for an operation. Its how your body is reacting to the medication. Sorry you are having a rough time of it! Although it really shouldn't be something to worry about, if it doesn't stop by tomorrow I would make a call to your doctor just in case.

I got my teeth out Monday today is Friday I was just numbed not put to sleep. I've been nauseous all week. And was sick for the whole time. I called my dentist and it was the medicine making me sick. He switched me and gave anti nauseous pills and I'm doing better I've been able to keep food down. my dizziness headaches and sickness went away when I switched meds. This whole ordeal has had me out of work for a week. But it will get better some have it easier than others.

I got my wisdom teeth out a week ago. It is normal to feel sick, it hurt so much for me. You shouldnt eat hard food- which is most food. Have smoothies, milkshakes, cut bannanas, yogurt. The reason you dont want to eat hard foods is because you dont want to push or undo the stiches. Remeber to take your anti biotics. WARNING: you will get puffed cheeks, there will be blood, and you might throw up or drool

yes it is very common, and is most often caused by the pain medications. If you feel too sick stop taking the pain medications. you can take 800mg of ibuprofen three times a day (read the directions on the bottle to determine how many pills).

Anesthesia can make you feel sick. Also pain meds can make you sick as well. I was recover from rhinoplasty about three weeks ago and I got sick from being put to sleep then from pain meds.
