  • I'd do the balloons...

Yes, i had Phimosis. Don't ignore this. i stretched in the shower 5 mins a day for a month and a half. bam. now all i have is the hypersensitivity. =(

  • Phimosis was never a problem for me; my foreskin was always nice and loose from the git-go.

I'd use the balloon 'cause I'm just not sure I wanna stick a couple of metal spoons into my dick. The balloon just looks safer all the way around. Although neither is really any different than manual stretching, if you're doing the stretching correctly. And I should think that success with either of these would depend on where the phemotic band or bands are. If the phemotic band is at the tip of the foreskin you need more than just these devices.

  • Stretching only works in mild cases from my experience. If you treat the cause (certain masturbation habits) then it is easier to fix. Read on.

The average age for the foreskin to retract is 10 years of age. For some boys though it doesn't become retractable until the teenage years. This is normal. See here for what normal retraction looks like:

Your masturbation habits may have been the cause of phimosis.

Certain masturbation techniques that differ from the normal up and down motion mimicking sex can damage both the foreskin and the 3 delicate spongy arteries of the penis.

Examples of damaging masturbation habits include: rubbing the penis head through clothes. and thrusting against the bed.

This does 2 things. Firstly rubbing the top of the foreskin and manipulating it in an unnatural manner creates scar tissue. This scar tissue is inelastic.

Secondly, the large pressure applied to the penis means that the spongy arteries that make up the penis may be damaged. Consequently, the penis doesn't fill up with blood properly and doesn't stretch the skin from the inside-out in the normal manner.

Check for signs of damage: the glans (the head underneath) can be sensitive and each side of the pee-slit is red.

So, a few things you need to do to cure this.

Initially , give your penis time to repair the spongy arteries that may have been damaged. Do this by masturbating as little as possible initially. then you can start doing it again - but don't do it too frequently.

Then, change to the masturbation tecnique where you just move the foreskin up and down applying as little pressure as possible. Stop any 'rubbing' masturbation techniques.

I'm pretty sure if you stick with this advice - it will retract in no time.

The reason you should not opt for circumcision is this.

The foreskin contains many specialized nerves on it's underside. When the foreskin is moved up and down it is very pleasurable. Circumcised men have lost this ability to masturbate easily as there is no gliding effect. Circumcised men often have to resort to artificial lubrication in masturbation and sex. See here for the function of the foreskin:

    http://geocities.com/painfulquestioning/naturalres...

Without the foreskin protecting the glans, circumcised men lose further sensitivity. The glans (head of the penis) dries out. It also brushes on underwear causing the skin to toughen. See here for the full damage done:

There are good reasons to believe that sex is better for the woman as well, if the man has his foreskin intact:

Circumcision carries a lot of risks:

    1....

  • I think this tinly but gentle thing is better and be able to cure phimosis(overly tight foreskin) at home faster, for boy of childhood,3-5 days, for after adolesence about one week.It can be used 24 hours a day.

  • The GFS most definitely. The Glansie is dangerous since it can create a lot of scarring with its stainless steel and would be less effective because it only elicits two parts of the foreskin, where the rods touch.. The GFS is much safer and more effective because it affects the whole foreskin because the balloon touches all parts and uses a soft material.
