in some animes i see OVA and OAD but wat does it mean tho?

OAD – Original Animation DVD. This is the term for animes that were direct-to-DVD.
OVA – Original Video Animation. Something of a ‘spinoff’ that is sold on DVD. Sometimes it’s a sequel or something.
