I've been watching CLANNAD for some time now and I really like it, but I don't quite understand the title. Every time I look up CLANNAD I get this Irish band. So I'm not really sure.
I'm thinking it means family because that's what CLANNAD revolves around basically the idea of family.
Any help would be great!

Ohhh Clannad!
Love the anime, and I love the band also.
Clannad is a gaelic word. It means Family
Specifically it's an Irish Gaelic word. There are three Gaelics (Irish, Scottish, and Manx)
There is technically no language called Irish, similar to there not being a language called Chinese.
It's usually called Irish, to avoid confusion with Scottish Gaelic because they sound very familiar.

Sword Art Online, Tari Tari, Hyouka, Humanity has declined, Koi to Senkyo to chocolate, Estetica I found the quiz to be entertaining...hard...but entertaining XD. You really need to know your stuff to be able to answer/ understand most of them, but none of the anime are obscure. If you do think about it, then you can come across with an answer suitable for the question (the DWMA was a guess by piecing together what I remembered). I would provide hints for some questions that don't seem that obvious, but it also depends on how knowledgeable the club members are. I don't have any ideas about the number of wards in Tokyo, so I'm not sure if it's related to anime...but I do think it's a good idea to have many types of questions since there might be people that know more about certain topics than others. (I'm the only person that I know that likes to remember what anime studio is aniṃѧṭıṅɢ the ones I'm watching every season) I don't know many that are able to answer most of these questions haha

Clannad means "family" or "clan" in Irish
I don't know why they chose Irish though. Kinda random.
Regarding the anime itself I thought it was okay but had it's flaws. It had the potential to be miles better than what it was but they didn't take advantage of that. Instead they made it too similar to the Visual novel. Sometimes things can work in a visual novel but not in an anme. The ending was so messed up you needed to have actually played the visual novel to fully understand wha happened.

It is the Irish word for "family."
