What draws more current, a 100-W lightbulb or a 75-W bulb?

So i have this one physics question...

Which draws more current, a 100-W lightbulb or a 75-W bulb? Which has the greater resistance?

if u can please answer...i would be very grateful

  • Assuming that the voltage stays constant in the equation P = VI, then the 100-W light bulb draws more current.

The situation with resistance is trickier, but if we assume that they are in receiving the same current or are in series, then the 100-W light bulb will have the greater resistance.

  • The 100W bulb attracts greater modern. ability is calculated by ability of right here equation P = V * I the place P is ability, V is the utilized voltage and that i is the present. Assuming we've 120V in the circuit then the 40W bulb attracts 40/one hundred twenty or 0.333 amps. The 100W bulb attracts one hundred/one hundred twenty or 0.833 amps.
