What is a sai-sai fish?

Is it just like a little silver fish or is there more to it than that? I am talking about the FISH. Thanks in advance!

  • Sai-sai fish is type of small silver Grunion. It is far better known from fiction than fact they are seen in the Island of the Blue Dolphin, a historical fiction account of St. Nicholas Island off the coast of California. They can be eaten of burned in lamps as they burn very brightly.
