where is the GS button for super mario 64?

ok, i know its been a long time scince my last question, so here's my new one,

i really need help on this one

i've seen in gameshark codes that you need to press GS code button,

but... where is it and what does it look like?

i don't know if its on the gameshark because i'm using a 1964
