  • Place a capital I with seven dots around it, with no more than two dots per side. That’s because iodine, like all of the halogens has seven valance electrons.

    Of course, I found that using something called a “search engine” (Google) by typing in “iodine Lewis dot”.

    for H2O the structure would be H–O—H Actually its hard to draw the structure this structure is correct just add two lone pairs of electrons on top and bottom of oxygen which i m unable to show here for OF2 :O—F: / : F : Here in th e structure i am not able to show one more lone pair in oxygen whch u could do it by yourself by puttin two dots on the top of O also the F atom in the same line as O has two more pairs of lone pair of electrons and th eF atom at the bottom has one more pair of lone pair of electrons
