Who is the author for this quote? Where does it come from?

Seems like a gazillion people re-posted it to their tumblr and blogs but no one actually QUOTES where does it come from.

It was probably made by a normal tumblr user. Someone found it nice and copied it. Someone else saw it and copied it. So many people re posted it that its almost impossible to search for the author. Its a nice poem though. Good luck! 🙂

I wrote it a while back 🙂 if you look in my archive you'll find the original post. I wrote it the summer of 2012 I believe.

The person who wrote that quote is Shane Koyczan he is a spoken word poet. I can't seem to find the poem it's from though. If I do I will get back to you about it. So NO, no average tumblr user made it. It is a poets quote.
